Teradek Bolt 7 TX: Zero-Delay 4K HDR Wireless Video Transmitter

The Teradek Bolt 7 TX brings advanced zero-delay wireless video transmission to virtually any professional camera. Available in three range configurations – Bolt 7 750, Bolt 7 1500 and Bolt 7 MAX – the transmitter delivers 4K HDR video over 12G-SDI and HDMI while simultaneously supporting production-critical data workflows through a dedicated 900 MHz wireless data channel.

 

Range Options

Bolt 7 750

Up to 750 ft (228 m) line of sight. The Bolt 7 750 is designed for compact camera configurations and professional applications where a reliable wireless connection is required over shorter operating distances.

Bolt 7 1500

Up to 1,500 ft (450 m) line of sight. The Bolt 7 1500 provides extended wireless coverage for larger sets, stages, gimbals and more demanding production environments.

Bolt 7 MAX

Up to 5,000 ft (1.5 km) line of sight. The Bolt 7 MAX is designed for extended-range applications where maximum wireless transmission distance is required.

 

Compact Camera-Mounted Design

With a significantly smaller form factor than previous generations, Bolt 7 TX integrates easily into handheld, Steadicam, gimbal and broadcast camera configurations without adding unnecessary bulk. The transmitter combines 12G-SDI, HDMI 2.0 and USB-C DisplayPort Alternate Mode video connectivity with a dedicated 900 MHz camera control and data channel. This enables video and production data to be transmitted simultaneously without relying on external Wi-Fi networks. USB-C DisplayPort Alternate Mode also supports emerging workflows with compatible cameras, allowing video and communications to be handled through a single cable.

 

Fast Pairing & Simple Setup

Bolt 7 TX introduces new wireless and wired pairing options for faster system configuration. A new full-color OLED display with joystick navigation provides direct access to configuration menus and system status. The transmitter also supports Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) for device setup and monitoring via the corresponding smartphone application.

 

Backward Compatibility

Bolt 7 TX is compatible with Bolt 4K, Bolt 6 and Bolt 7 products, allowing productions to integrate the transmitter into existing Teradek wireless video environments and expand their current workflow.
