Operating within a broad UHF frequency range (550-960 MHz, region dependent**), the DBTX offers flexibility in diverse environments. It integrates perfectly with the D2RX receiver and the Sidus Audio app, providing a complete and streamlined wireless audio solution for professionals who demand the best. Its proprietary digital RF modulation ensures a stable and robust wireless link.

A key advantage of the DBTX is its built-in 32-bit float/24-bit recorder, which simultaneously captures a backup audio track directly to a microSD card (supports up to 128GB). This provides crucial redundancy in case of wireless interference or dropouts, safeguarding valuable audio recordings. The transmitter also supports precise timecode synchronization (LTC, SMPTE) when paired with the Deity TC-1 timecode generator, guaranteeing perfect audio-video synchronization across a wide range of frame rates: 23.98, 24, 25, 29.97, 29.97DF, 30, and 30DF. Power is supplied via Deity AA batteries (providing up to 14 hours of runtime at 10mW with the screen off) or through the USB-C port, which also serves for external power and firmware updates.
