The WorkSurface Pro is a one-of-a-kind workstation. Coupled with our unique and Patent Pending vDrop System, the WorkSurface Pro can be mounted to anything that is up to 2″ in diameter. When connected to the AXIS Stand, The WorkSurface Pro can be positioned as low as 34″ and as high as 43″ which is equivalent to a standing desk height. The AXIS Stand has been specifically designed by INOVATIV. The dimensions, material, and features have been improved to enhance the connection and compatibility of our AXIS components. As an example, the AXIS Stand has more tube space in between the riser-collars, in effort to provide more height adjustment for AXIS components like the WorkSurface Pro, Case Platform, and Digi Platform, or to provide enough real-estate for connection of multiple components. Collars on traditional stands may interfere or reduce the overall height adjustment for these components. We’ve also added a unique leveling-leg to the center leg of the stand that provides 6.0″” of adjustment and up to (2.0) degrees of negative angle. As more components and equipment are connected and added to the AXIS Stand, the heavier it is. By loosening the leveling-leg, you can tip the stand back accessing the negative angle, opposite of the side with the weight on it. This improves the stands center of gravity and confidence to the user. Furthermore, when the AXIS Stand is coupled to our AXIS Wheel System, the stands center of gravity is further improved. The AXIS Wheel System off-sets the stands center of gravity by 3.0″”, but the wheels do increase the overall footprint of the stand by 12.00″”. So when heavy components and equipment are attached to the stand, much of the weight is centered over the wheels. Together the AXIS Stand and AXIS Wheel System transform into an effective mobile workstation. The AXIS Stand is aluminum and steel with black powder coating, and its 12″” aluminum straps are anodized orange. It has 2 height adjustable riser section with an industry standard 5/8″” baby pin on the top section. With the stands legs deployed and risers fully extended, the stands top baby pin is roughly 79” tall (91″” with the AXIS Wheel’s connected). With the stands legs deployed and risers fully collapsed the stands top baby pin is roughly 43″ tall (54″” with the AXIS Wheel’s connected). The AXIS Stand is roughly 1.75’ in diameter and has a 38″” footprint when the legs are deployed (roughly 49″” with the AXIS Wheel’s connected). The AXIS Stand weighs 16lb and is 30″” long when fully collapsed in packing mode. Keep in mind that it is advised to remove the AXIS Wheel System when transporting the AXIS Stand in packing mode. The AXIS Dual Bar gives you the ability to easily mount 2 monitors simply by clamping the AXIS Dual Bar to our AXIS Stand, C-Stand, rolling stand, or anything up to 2″ in diameter. It is machined from solid billet 6061 T6 aluminum and anodized black. The AXIS Dual Bar keeps the top 5/8″ baby pin, traditionally found at the top stage of most industry stands, free for mounting wireless receivers, wireless transmitters, antennas and other accessories that connect to a baby pin. The Dual Bar has a total of eighteen 3/8-16 threaded holes providing you several mounting points to position the two included baby pins. Depending on the size of the monitors you will be mounting, you may want to have the pins further or closer together. The AXIS Dual Bar (priced at $240.00) includes the Dual Bar and two “threaded” style 5/8″ Baby Pins. For an additional $40, you can purchase the AXIS Dual Bar configured with our Crossbar Baby Pin Plugs. This “plug” style 5/8″ Baby Pin slides over the top of the bar, and hard mounts using a 1/4-20″ bolt. The advantage of the “plug” style pin is that it will not rotate, or loosen, if the item connected to it rotates. Generally speaking, standard “thread” style baby pins have the tendancy to loosen if the item connected to it rotates. Configure your system with the Crossbar Baby Pin Plugs if you want to be sure the pins will not loosen over time.
