The Black arm is a 3-axis dampening system with an additional vibration mount for stabilizing roll and tilt errors as well as vertical motion and vibrations. The Black arm is a hardmount system, made for gimbals, that you want to mount on vehicles such as cars, ATVs, boats, snowmobiles etc. The Black arm Complete is for users working with higher loads and carries between 5-32kg (11-70lbs).  

The Black arm Complete is for users working with higher loads and carries between 5-32kg (11-70lbs). Of course you have the option to upgrade the Standard version into a Complete, if needed. The Black Complete ships with four 7.0mm springs and four 7.5mm springs, that takes the entire range of 5-32kg. You can use the springs in single (one spring on each side) or dual (two springs on each side) configuration, to precisely achieve the lift needed. The damping action of all axes, vertical, tilt and roll is created by custom made actuator hydraulic dampers that are fully adjustable. You adjust the damping with a knob that has 22 steps, to precisely dial in the exact amount of damping you need for your shot. The Black Complete ships with a total of six dampers, allowing for dual dampers on each axis if needed, or as spares. Each Black arm ships with one anti-vibration mount (AVM). The main purpose of the AVM is to reduce high frequency vibrations, such as noise from a cars engine. In order to maximise the efficiency of the AVM, you should use the version that matches your load and conditions. The Wire AVMs comes in five different weight ranges, and is very easy to use. You just put the correct one on and go. The Tranquilizer has many adjustments to fine tune it's performance, and may give better results if you have the time and skills to configure it properly.  

Flight case The Black arm ships in the Pro case. It's made in all-black, to perfectly match the Black arm. It features powder coated black metal corners, heavy duty recessed handles and butterfly catches. It also has wheels, so you can roll the case just like a cabin bag. To match the clean exterior, the foam in the Pro case is all black.

The Dual Black is, just like it's little brother, the Black Complete, a 4-axis dampening system with a additional vibration mount, for stabilizing roll and tilt errors as well as vertical motion and vibrations. In difference to the Black Complete, the Dual Black is designed to be able to accommodate much larger gimbals and flight heads, and it takes weights up to 64kg / 141lbs. It ships with the new Tranquilizer XL, all nicely packed in two black flight cases with wheels. The Dual Black mounts to standard 48-52mm speed rail with the four included clamps. The four clamps can be moved around on the Back plate, allowing for a flexible mounting solution. There is also an option to rig the Dual Black on to a bazooka style mount with the 150mm clamps (sold as an accessory). TRANQUILIZER XL The Dual Black ships with the new Tranquilizer XL. It's a larger and more robust version of the Tranquilizer that is designed to take the load and the much stronger pan motors of the larger gimbals and flight heads. Just like the Tranquilizer, the Tranquilizer XL has changeable polymer o-rings that dampens the vibrations. By choosing the right o-rings for your setup, you can fine tune the performance and get better results. The Tranquilizer XL also have changeable Pan Barrels. These are the links that run around the unit, and their job is to keep the pan axis dampened separately from the other axes. This way, you can have the pan axis much stiffer, to be able to use the full torque for your gimbals pan motor, without having the gimbal end up in self oscillation. The Tranquilizer XL ships with Pan Barrels shore 50 and O-rings between shore 40 to 60.

The Flowcine Tranquilizer use custom polymers instead of wire rope. They have a system that lets you go from different types of hardness and amount of polymers, that allows for perfect tweaking of your setup weight, allowing the Tranquilizer to work optimally. The package ships with two sets of polymers, shore 30 and shore 40, and you can easily add more sets if you have a wide span of different gimbals you want to change between, however since the system easily lets you add and subtract the amount, you already have a great range of freedom in weight span with the default package. The Tranquilizer also includes the Flowcine Passive plates. These adds more mass to the system, and lets you dial in the perfect weight and also makes a huge difference compensating incoming hard shocks. These are very easy to add and remove on the fly, while your gimbal is already attached to the system. We include eight of the passive plates in the package, enabling you to add just over 5KG/11LBS to the Tranquilizer. To reduce the problem with when the pan motor goes into self oscillation, we have a design that allows the system to reduce a great deal of incoming vibrations, while at the same time keep the gimbal in check from jittering around the pan axis. This allows you to tune your gimbal/gyrohead with the highest possible pan motor torque settings and the result will be a head that handles high speeds, wind and other dynamics when shooting from vehicles better.   FEATURES The Flowcine Tranquilizer has been carefully built from ground up to meet the following criterias: Small in size Stabilize lighter gimbals with small amounts of mass Reduce vibrations from lowest possible frequency range and maximise motor torque without getting into self oscillation, which is a common problem with wire rope isolators.      

The xARM is a double section articulated stabilization arm, made from aircraft grade aluminium, solid carbon fibre infused titanium shafts and large stainless steel precision ball bearings. The xARM design is built with simplicity in mind, it’s extremly solid and robust with up to 29 Kg / 64 Lbs lift capacity. The very clean design makes it possible to give a frictionless and noiseless arm with absolute minimum push/pull force (down to 100g for the entire minimum and maximum positions) for its full boom range. All socket blocks are made from film industry proven stainless steel connections, where most leverage of the arm is being transfered. Many other components, as arm posts and shafts, are made from grade 5 titanium to keep the arm weight low, still with minimum flex in the structure when using high payloads. The xARM is based on polymer spring cores with a outer shell of Neoprene. Each spring core has a smooth and linear lifting capacity, and when being used near their maximum, they perform their best. Because of this, each spring core has a weight range of about 5 Kg / 11 Lbs, allowing the operator to fine tune the arm to optimal performance. The xARM ships with three different spring cores, to cover a range between 17-29 Kg / 37-64 Lbs. The spring cores are pre-extended and can quickly be changed. The xARM will give the operator a new idea of what it means to work fluently and smoothly with a minimal force needed to maintain any position. The xBONE is a back mount adjustable arm, that is mounted on vests that allows this type of configuration. It basically allows the operator a great array of different positions for their socket block to be mounted, to increase range of motion and give better clearance between the operator and the arm. The possibility to precisely position the arm mounting point opens up for new ways of shooting. The xBONE package contains everything needed for various operators and body sizes. It includes three mounts for various vests and a hard mount, a back bone that can slide sideways on the mounts, and three different sections in various lengths and a socket block xy (roll/tilt) stage. The three vests mounts are for Fawcetts Exovest made by Tiffen international ltd, the Walter Klassen FX back mount vest and the (now discontinued product) Action Products Vest. The mount for fixed hard mount, consisting of two 48-52mm clamps that are easy to re-arrange in various positions depending on need. The xBONEs three different sections are adjustable in four different angles and together with the adjustable back bone bar this gives the operator a wide range of possible socket-block-to-arm connection positions. The xBONE can be configured to retract the socket-block-to-arm connection position further back than ordinary, something that can be useful in certain shots that require the sled to be offset to the “wrong” operating position. The xBONE also provides better clearance in between the arm and the sled due to different positioning of the stabilizer arm connection to the socket block. It is configured so that it can perfectly fit any operator size and at the same time have the socket block connection to their arm at a preferred position. The xBONE also have a fully adjustable xy socket block stage that has a adjustable knob tilt, and the usual roll adjustment by two knobs. The roll adjustment with the xBONE socket block has a larger degree adjustment than ordinary socket blocks.
