The DSC Labs SineZone Test Chart for Digital Camera serves as a visual tool, allowing user to identify chroma moiré, which shows as false colors. It also identifies aliasing, which displays as circles that are not concentric with the centers of the printed circles.Limiting resolution can be measured by calculating the linear distance from the center of the chart along the radius to the point at which detail has lost enough contrast to be no longer visible. The Frontbox FrameAlign from DSC Labs is a calibration chart that combines multiple framing formats in popular film-industry ratios: 4:3, 16:9, 1.85 and 2.39. It features a CamWhite background for accurate white balancing and a center production slate on the chart can be used with a dry-erase marker for scene identification. This chart can serve as a post-production reference, since the center circle shows aliasing and any image distortion due to aspect-ratio changes.
